Platform support
Qualification guidance for clients, agents, OpenSSH, and identity clouds.
Tenvyr uses the system OpenSSH client for user connections and an installed agent on managed hosts. Production support is tied to the qualified release matrix delivered with your Tenvyr build.
Client requirements
- a current Tenvyr CLI;
- a supported OpenSSH client;
- browser access for device authorization;
- a supported credential, including eligible hardware-backed keys; and
- network access to
app.tenvyr.comand the target host.
Agent requirements
- a supported Linux, macOS, or Windows release;
- a supported OpenSSH server;
- root or administrator installation;
- outbound HTTPS to
agents.tenvyr.com; - protected local state and accurate time; and
- a recovery path independent of Tenvyr-managed SSH.
Identity clouds
Microsoft Entra configuration supports Public, US Government, and China cloud selection. Each cloud has distinct endpoints and qualification requirements. Do not move a connector between clouds by changing only DNS or issuer text.
Private pilot releases
During the private pilot, use the release manifest and checksum set supplied with the package as the authoritative compatibility matrix. Validate operating system, CPU architecture, OpenSSH version, endpoint security, and upgrade path before expanding a wave.
